Danone has announced that it is preparing a savings plan, which it will adopt by next March, aimed at reducing costs by 200 million euros over two years in Europe, where the crisis is weighing on its sales. "Today it is too early to assess the impact on employment" of this program, said the managing director of the presidency of the transalpine agro-food group, Laurent Sacchi, explaining that the company's intention is to reduce the operating costs of the group and its European subsidiaries. Danone employs approximately 9.000 management in Europe.
