There is no peace in Emilia-Romagna: today the earthquake has moved to Ravenna and has also made itself felt along the Marche ridge. There doesn't seem to be much damage and fortunately no casualties. The bulletin of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology reads as follows: “An earthquake of 4.5 magnitude it took place at 06:08:31 Italian time, and was located by the Ingv National Seismic Network in the seismic district of the Emilian Po Valley, at a depth of 25.6 km”, in an area between Cervia and Ravenna.
Unfortunately it also grows the death toll from previous earthquakes, which reached 26 yesterday. In the afternoon Liviana Latini died at the Baggiovara hospital in Modena. The 65-year-old woman had been under the rubble of her house for 12 hours after the 9 am tremor on 29 May.
Meanwhile, the Region's website informs that the earthquake emergency is today at the center of the Conference of Regions and the agenda includes proposals in the agricultural sector. During the meeting, the topics of the subsequent Unified and State-Regions Conferences that Minister Piero Gnudi has convened at the Ministry for Regional Affairs will also be addressed.
The Emilia-Romagna Region also lets it be known that 10 million euros have already arrived from solidarity text messages for the populations affected by the earthquake, in addition to 500 euros flowing into the current account set up by the Region.
