Development decree, Government oriented towards asking for a vote of confidence

The text should arrive in the Chamber next Wednesday but, given the close deadline and the impressive amount of amendments, it is increasingly likely that the Executive will resort to a vote of confidence (for the 27th time in the legislature)

Development decree, Government oriented towards asking for a vote of confidence

The hypothesis that the government raises the question of trust in the development decree is increasingly concrete. If so, it would be the 27th time for the Government in this legislature.
Already on 31 May on Firstonline we had anticipated the probable orientation of the executive, in the light of the limited time required to examine the provision.
The decree, now being examined by the Budget and Finance commissions of the Chamber, should arrive in the classroom next Wednesday. Despite the fact that the Government has shown availability and openness during the discussion in these hours, the amount of amendments is impressive (over 1500 were presented, and the ax of rejection due to inadmissibility was of little use) and the necessary time must be left to the Senate to the second reading.
However, the deadline for conversion into law is near (the deadline is set for July 12). Here then is the hypothesis of placing trust in the Chamber, precisely to speed up the times and leave adequate space also in Palazzo Madama.
