Crisis, Schaeuble: no final solutions at the EU summit

Once again Germany is concerned with cooling market expectations on the European anti-crisis summits. The German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble, clarified this morning that during the next EU summit, scheduled for October 23, will not be presented no definitive remedy to the European debt emergency.

Schaeuble added that he expects an agreement on a capital charge Core Tier 1 minimum for European banks at 9%. “The financial markets – concluded the minister – urgently need to be stabilized to limit the damage to the real economy”.
