Credem has released the data on loans granted in the first quarter of 2018. In detail, the bank has granted small and medium-sized enterprises 200 million euros between new loans and leasing distributed as follows: trade (26%), manufacturing (22%) and agriculture (16%).

Geographically, 30% of the loans were granted to companies in the South, 20% to those in Emilia Romagna, 16% in the North West and 15% each to companies in the North East and central Italy.

For the rest of 2018, Credem expects to finance 3 new small businesses and disburse 800 million euros in new loans and leases. To facilitate disbursements, the bank has stipulated agreements with the European Investment Fund and with Sace as well as the facilitations for leasing financing for super-depreciation and hyper-depreciation provided for by the Sabatini law.

“For several years now, small businesses have understood how essential it is to invest to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their business and production processes in order to continue to be competitive and face the new paths that technological innovation faces. us”, said Gabriele Decò, Credem Small Business Sales Manager. “In recent years”, continued Decò, “accessibility to technology even with limited investments and within the reach of even small businesses has given a strong boost to companies that have been able to innovate and look to new markets, including at an international level. Innovation and internationalization have also been the drivers that have always pushed us to pay particular attention to the subsidized loan chain in order to allow our customers to benefit from them.”
