The new solution aims to increasingly integrate wealth consultancy with insurance protection

Consulting and protection: Sfera+ is born from the partnership between Fideuram and Intesa Sanpaolo Assicurazioni.

from collaboration between Fideuram-Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking and Intesa Sanpaolo Assicurazioni Sfera+ is launched, a new solution that aims to increasingly integrate wealth management with insurance protection, targeting clients of the Fideuram, Sanpaolo Invest, and IW Private Investments networks. Presented in Milan on April 23, 2026, the initiative is part of a context in which personal and wealth risk management is playing a growing role in overall financial planning.

Sfera+ stands out for its modular and flexible design, built on a single contract that allows for the combination of different insurance coverages, adapting them over time to the client's needs. The offering includes protection for individuals, families, health, and property, with the option to adjust the coverage limits, number of insured persons, and property coverage over the years. The lifecycle approach allows for coverage to be updated as life stages change, while maintaining consistency with financial and wealth goals.

Sfera+: From protecting family assets to defending properties

Specifically, the solution encompasses areas of intervention ranging from protecting family assets against everyday events to defending properties—including income-generating properties—against even major damage and unforeseen events. Particular attention is paid to health, with tools that facilitate access to care, protect income, and support the management of significant health events. Among its distinctive features is the extension of new subscriptions up to age 70, with the option of renewal up to age 90, without the need to complete a health questionnaire at renewal.

In support of the network of consultants and clients a dedicated operating ecosystem has also been developed, which involves over 1.500 professionals and offers support channels such as a toll-free number, email, and a dedicated app, as well as claims tracking systems and training courses for specialists. The goal is to strengthen service quality and ensure continuity in managing insurance needs over time.

These new solutions are driven by the increase in life expectancy.

The launch of the new solution fits into a scenario characterised by the lengthening of life expectancy, by a increasing complexity in asset management and a greater awareness of risks, both personal and financial. In this context, insurance tends to become an integral part of asset allocation, contributing not only to protection but also to the stability of long-term financial plans.

Despite estimated annual growth of between 7% and 8% and a total value of approximately €23 billion, the Italian security market still has significant room for growth compared to European standards. In fact, a significant portion of uncovered risks remainsOnly a minority of homes are insured, and private healthcare spending continues to represent a significant component of the total, signaling a still partially unmet need for protection tools.

The project is part of the 2029 business plan

Sfera+ is therefore proposed not as an accessory product, but as a structural element of advanced consultancy, capable of supporting investments in building, protecting, and transmitting wealth. The initiative aligns with the guidelines of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group's 2026-2029 business plan, presented by CEO Carlo Messina, which identifies the integration of investments, wealth planning, and protection as one of the key drivers of growth, confirming the central role of wealth management, advisory, and insurance activities in the group's development model.
