Navigator competition at the start: the complete guide in 4 points

The Anpal competition to hire i 2.980 navigators who will act as tutors for those receiving the basic income to look for work, undertake training courses or professional reintegration. The rehearsals start today, 18 June, in Rome and will end on Thursday 20 June.

They are almost 54 thousand candidates (53.907 to be exact). Hand calculator: only one in 18 will make it.

NAVIGATOR: THE COMPETITION

According to data provided by the same agency (which also released una short guide for participants), women take the lion's share. In fact, among the participants in the competition, 73% are female, while half are between 30 and 40 years old.

The examination procedure for the selected candidates will take place through separate examination sessions "also in order to guarantee the correctness and good progress of the selection". It will be a multiple choice test. 100 questions in all, divided as follows:

  • 10 general culture questions,
  • 10 psycho-aptitude questions,
  • 10 logic questions,
  • 10 computer science questions,
  • 10 questions on labor policy intervention models and tools,
  • 10 questions on basic income,
  • 10 questions on the discipline of employment contracts,
  • 10 questions on the education and training system,
  • 10 questions on the regulation of the labor market,
  • 10 business economics questions.

The total time available is 100 minutes. No electronic devices or paper supports can be used during the test. The judgment will be expressed in cents. The successful candidates will pass the test a minimum score of 60/100. Each candidate will have 1 point for each correct answer, 0 for each blank answer and -0,4 points for each incorrect answer. Suitable candidates, but who will not be able to make it among the 3 hired, may subsequently be called to fill any vacant positions.

NAVIGATORS: DIVISION BY REGION

It will be there Campania the region that can count on the largest number of navigators: 471 in all, of which 274 only in Naples. In second place will be the Sicilia with 429 places available, of which 225 in the two largest cities: 125 in Palermo and 100 in Catania.

A substantial number of Navigators will also go in Lombardia (329, 76 in Milan) and in Lazio (273, 195 in the province of Rome).

NAVIGATOR: RECRUITMENT, CONTRACT, SALARY

The first in the ranking for each province in order of scores and up to the number of available places will be hired by Anpal Servizi by mid-July with a collaboration agreement which will run until April 30, 2021. The list will be announced between June 25 and 26. The salary will be equal to 27.338 euros gross per year, to which will be added 300 euros (always gross) per month, as a flat-rate reimbursement for the expenses of carrying out the assignment, travel, board and lodging.

NAVIGATOR: WHAT THEY DO

"The navigator - explains the ANPAL note - will be the central figure of the technical assistance provided by Anpal Servizi Spa to the employment centres, selected and trained to support their services and to integrate into the new context characterized by the'introduction of the basic income, for which the objective is to ensure technical assistance to employment centers, enhancing active regional policies, also in a logic of case management to be integrated and implemented with the innovative methodologies and techniques that will be adopted for the basic income ”.

Before entering the service, navigators will have to participate in three orientation meetings. Subsequently, two weeks of training and "continuous on the job" training are foreseen, at the end of which a final test is scheduled.
