The Italian energy giant was confirmed for the third consecutive year in first place in the Webranking Europe 500 class - Behind it Telecom, the absolute leader in the TLC sector, and Snam.

Three Italian companies at the top of the digital communication rankings. Eni, in fact, was confirmed for the third consecutive year in first place in the standings Webranking Europe 500, the research conducted by Comprend, in collaboration with Lundquist, which evaluates the quality of online corporate communication of the largest 497 listed European companies by capitalization. Behind the energy giant are two other homegrown companies: Telecom Italy e Snam.

This year Eni it was awarded 89,1 points out of 100 available, further improving the score obtained last year, according to the fundamental principles of corporate and financial communication and openness to dialogue on digital channels. Companies that pass the Understand stress test demonstrate that they know how to manage their reputation on digital channels by creating a privileged relationship with their stakeholders.

As mentioned, it finished behind Eni Telecom Italy, the best European company in the TLC sector for digital corporate communication, with a score of 86,6 out of 100. 

Telecom Italia was appreciated for the new ways of presenting contents, through a more extensive use of infographics and videos to support the corporate strategy, for the storytelling aimed at professionals and the wider public, and for the integrated communication between the corporate website and social media. 

In third place, to close an all-Italian podium on the profile of corporate communication, it was placed Snam.
