The energy service company controlled by CiviBank performed very well above all thanks to the activity carried out on tax bonuses.

CiviEsco, 2020 in profit and with less CO2 emissions

CiviESCo, an energy service company controlled by CiviBank born in 2016, has approved the 2020 financial statements, with a gross profit of around 1 million euro. A result to which he contributed significantly the activity carried out by the company on tax bonuses (eco and earthquake bonus, superbonus 110%) as General Contractor, bringing EBITDA to 455.337 euros. Excellent results if we take into account the impact of the pandemic and the postponement of some projects in the public sector due to the lockdown, as well as the waiting for funding from Next Generation Europe, a situation which has advised a prudent attitude on inventories.

However, the most important result that CiviESCo achieved in 2020 is what emerges from the activities carried out in terms of reduction of the environmental impact and improvement of the quality of life. Overall, in fact, in 2020 the efficiency projects developed guaranteed environmental savings in the reduction of CO2 emissions equal to 367.870,65 kg, equivalent to 24.524,71 tall trees or to a forest of 98.098,84 mXNUMX.

"CiviESCo's is a small contribution that demonstrates how much each of us can give to improve the quality of the air we breathe and make our cities more livable" he said Massimo Bolzicco, President of CiviESCo. “We are certainly not the only ones to promote these targets, but there are very few of us who combine it with "Impact investing" assessments. An investment has an "impact" when its objective is to generate positive effects on the territory in an environmental, social and economic sense, in addition to generating a return."
