Chrysler: record sales in the USA and a clear increase for 2 years

In a dark period for the car market, the Chrysler group continues to grind positive results. It does so for the twenty-fourth consecutive month (two years in a row), with US sales of 163.381 units in March, an increase of 34% compared to the same period of 2011 (121.730 units). March is therefore the best month in the last four years for the US automaker controlled by the Fiat group.

Chrysler's is also the tenth consecutive month of increases of at least 20%, the best first quarter since 2008 and the performance above the industry average for the thirteenth consecutive month.

All brands of the group (Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram Truck and Fiat) achieved an increase in sales compared to March 2011, with the Fiat brand in the lead, one year after returning to the United States with the Fiat 500 model.
