The Board of Directors of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti he deliberated new operations for approximately 2,4 billion euros. The resources aim to strengthen strategic sectors for the Italian economy, supporting infrastructure, small businesses and international cooperation projects.
Cdp: Infrastructure and Energy
With the purpose of strengthen the national infrastructure fabric, Cdp has launched new interventions for modernize the electricity distribution network and improve the rubber mobility. The measures, aimed at companies active in sectors considered strategic for the Country System, aim to increase the efficiency and resilience of infrastructures, while supporting the growth of Italian industrial companies already present at European level. A significant part of the resources will in fact be intended for internationalization projects that strengthen the foreign projection of Italian companies.
Cdp: export and SMEs
Consistent with the 2025-2027 Strategic Plan, CDP has approved measures for facilitate access to credit for SMEs, thanks to a network of synergies with leading financial institutions operating in the area. The aim is to strengthen the local production fabric and stimulate the dimensional development of smaller businesses. At the same time, new funding approved to support the export of large Italian groups, with the aim of strengthening their competitive positioning on global markets. The initiatives, as communicated, will also have positive effects in terms of employment along the relevant industrial supply chains.
CDP: push for projects in the Middle East
Cdp confirms its commitment as a financial institution for development cooperation with new operations in support of projects in the Middle East. The resources will be channeled through local financial intermediaries to extend credit to SMEs and initiatives in the field of energy efficiency. In addition to generating an economic and environmental impact in the areas concerned, the measures aim to Strengthen commercial presence of Italian companies in non-European markets, with a view to sustainable and multilateral growth.
