Lupi case, summit at Palazzo Chigi: the minister one step away from resigning

Minister Maurizio Lupi will report to the Chamber, tomorrow (Friday) at 11, even if the request was withdrawn by the oppositions. The choice of the majority to maintain the request for information for Minister Lupi, explained by Minister Maria Elena Boschi, would also have been made in line with what was requested by the minister himself, who therefore could be willing to resign before the motion of no confidence in his load, which will eventually be voted on next Tuesday at 16 pm in the House.

"We promptly responded to the request for information from Minister Lupi, inexplicably withdrawn by the opposition, with a view to transparency and consistency". Thus the Minister of Reforms Maria Elena Boschi on Lupi's request for information tomorrow in the Chamber, maintained in group leaders, by the majority. “The Government showed wide availability first with the Question Time, then with the information. Minister Lupi will report to Parliament, which is the venue in charge of this discussion, and after listening to him the groups will be able to form their own ideas and evaluate independently”, said Minister Boschi, when asked to the Chamber.
