Campari case: on the Stock Exchange it is the only one to rise

In the last year, Campari shares have grown by 37% despite the uncertainties and instability of the markets. The secret? Organic growth and acquisitions

Campari case: on the Stock Exchange it is the only one to rise

On a black day in Piazza Affari, only one saves himself Campari. While the Italian price list travels around 2% of losses, at the end of the morning, the share of the group active in the production of alcoholic beverages is the only one in positive territory of the Ftse Mib, with a gain of 0,10%.

The, albeit slight, counter-tendency of Campari shares is explained by the promotion of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, which raised the opinion on the stock to "buy", setting the target price at 11,3 euros against the 9,6 of the current price .

In the last year, the share of the company based in Sesto San Giovanni has gone from 7,115 euros to its current price, with a 37% growth in the value of the shares, the highest, in percentage terms, among all the shares in the basket. For the future, the group's growth strategy focuses 50% on the organic (internal) component and the remaining 50% on acquisitions, the last of which, this year, was Gran Marnier.
