Building a house in Italy costs more and more. According to Istat, in February the index of the construction cost of a residential building increases by Present in several = 0,2% compared to January and1% every year.
In detail, the indices by cost group recorded an increase of 0,6% between January and February for i materials, while the costs of the labor, transport and freight rates.
Compared to February 2012, however, the cost of labor increased by 0,9%, that of materials by 1,2%, that of transport by 0,6% and that of freight by 2,9%.
Among materials, the greatest cyclical increases concern the categories of fixtures (+2,2%) and waterproofing and thermal insulation (+0,7%). In trend terms, the largest increases are recorded for waterproofing-thermal insulation (+5,1%) and bricks and concrete products (+3%). The greatest drop is seen for metals (-6,3%).
