Hillary Clinton makes history as the first female candidate for the presidency of the United States of America. She will challenge Donald Trump in the elections on November 8th. The official announcement of the nomination in the ranks of the Democratic Party arrived on Tuesday at the Philadelphia convention, where the former first lady reached the decisive threshold of 2.382 votes in the delegate count.
To regroup the party around Clinton, the support of Bernie Sanders, the loser of the primaries, was crucial: when his state, Vermont, was called to express itself, it asked to stop voting and suspend the rules to "nominate Hillary for acclamation". Words that made it possible to close the disputes of a part of his supporters who did not accept Hillary's nomination until the end.

On the eve of the convention she had been disturbed by the revelations about maneuvers by the leaders of the Democratic Party in favor of Clinton.
