House: 6 years of salary to buy it

To buy a house in the city you need six years of salary, the minimum of the last 10 years.

This is what the research office of the Tecnocasa group detects on the basis of data collected by the affiliated Tecnocasa and Tecnorete agencies active in the cities.

Going into detail, a citizen who intends to buy an average used house of 85 square meters will have to resort to 6,3 annual salaries, a figure that represents 35% less than the 10,2 that served in the two-year period % less than the 2006 needed in 2007.

Obviously the amount varies according to the place where the property is located and the type of house you buy. In general, nationwide, the price rises if the house is located in a city of art.

Taking a practical example, to buy a house in Rome you need 10 years of salary, less than the 14,8 in 2008. In Milan you need to put your hands on 9,1 annuities, while in Florence you need 8,6.

Much lower costs in Palermo and Genoa. In the Sicilian capital, 3,9 years of pay are needed, in the Ligurian one 4,4.

Comparing today's values with those of 10 years ago, the figure went from 10,2 years in 2005 to 6,3 in the first part of this year. In the same period of time, the cities that have recorded the most consistent price changes are Bologna and Naples.
