UBS has cut its stake in Banca Carige, from 4,05% to 1,798%. This was revealed by the communications relating to the significant shareholdings of Consob, according to which the operation dates back to last June 30, less than a month after the entry of the Swiss institute among the significant shareholders of the Genoese bank, last June 9, when the Fondazione Carige had concluded the off-market sale of approximately 10,9% of the bank's capital.
The package of shares declared by UBS was, according to the reconstructions, a function of financial transactions by third parties. Among the possible investors, the names of the Garrones and the Malacalzas stand out.
