Mediobanca announces that it has started an arbitrage activity on the electronic stock market between Banca Carige ordinary shares and the corresponding option rights deriving from the capital increase transaction.
This operation - indicates a note from the institute, which heads the guarantee consortium for the capital increase of the Genoese bank - "taking account of market conditions, may involve up to a maximum of approximately 151 million Banca Carige shares" .
Mediobanca stock opens session a Business Square gaining 0,39% a 7,695 euros, while Banca Carige rises by more than 2% reaching quota 0,1852 euro.
