The first reductions on fuel are starting to be recorded: IP cuts the recommended price of petrol by a cent, TolalErg cuts the price list for green and diesel by 0,5. Reductions driven by competition from white pumps.

Finally the first ones arrive discounts on fuel, as noted today by Quotidianoenergia.it. The large gross margins of the companies compared to the last three years have convinced IP to cut of 1 cent the recommended price of the green.

TotalErg, on the other hand, limits itself to a reduction of 0,5 cents both on green and on diesel. For now, all the other brands have stopped, even if further reductions in price lists are conceivable over the weekend due to the inevitable drop in prices charged, also stimulated by the downward move of no-logo systems.

National averages score today 1,903 euros / liter for petrol, 1,783 for diesel and 0,882 for LPG. The maximum peaks contract for the green a 1,989 euros / liter (Center), while a 1,818 and 0,911 (both in the South) for other products.

At the country level, the average price of petrol (in served mode) ranges from1,897 euro/litre of Esso to 1,903 of Shell and Tamoil (no-logo falling below the threshold of 1,8 euro/litre and precisely at 1,795). For diesel, it goes from 1,776 euro/litre for Eni and Shell to 1,783 for Q8 and Tamoil (no-logo down to 1,653). Lastly, LPG settles between 0,873 euro/litre for Eni and 0,882 for TotalErg (no-logo at 0,836).
