The club stressed that the events of the investigation "are completely independent" of the club and the Roman activities related to cinema, main activities of the entrepreneur.

Together with Ferrero, his daughter Vanessa was also arrested, accused of the same bankruptcy crime of which her father is accused, and Giorgio's nephew, both placed under house arrest. Among the recipients of the provision of the investigating judge of the court of Paola there would be three other people, including two managers. Searches were carried out in various regions, including Lombardy, Lazio, Campania, Basilicata and Calabria.

The Ferrero's lawyer, Pina Tenga, presented a request to the magistrates so that Ferrero could be transferred to Rome to allow him to assist in the search and proceed with the opening of a safe inside a house.
