The group reported an increase in profit in the fiscal third quarter to £928 million, or £0,09 per share – A new organizational structure is on the way which will be operational from April and will include six business lines.

BT Group ended the fiscal third quarter with adjusted revenues up 3% to £4,594 billion, one of the best results in seven years. The British telecommunications group announced it in a note, specifying that it had recorded an increase in profit to 928 million pounds, or 0,09 pounds per share, compared to 814 million pounds, or 0,08 pounds per share of the third quarter of last year. Adjusted Ebitda increased by 3% to £1,613 billion. Net debt for the nine months at the end of December remained at 5 billion.

The group is also preparing a new organizational structure which will be operational from April and will include six business lines: two for consumers, two for business and the public sector, one in Great Britain and Ireland and one global, two will serve for wholesale services to other market operators.
