Intesa Sanpaolo and the Gavio group take the reins of Brebemi, the new motorway artery which will be completed next year and will shorten the journey times between Milan and Brescia. In the recent capital increase successfully closed by Autostrade Lombarde, the holding company that controls 89% of Brebemi, the institution chaired by Giovanni Bazoli and Satap, according to Radiocor, have injected fresh resources of 128 and 47 million respectively .

Thus, by virtue of the dilution of various local entities, unable to follow the recapitalization, Intesa Sanpaolo and Gavio rose to 42,51% and 12,75% of the infrastructure. Following the transaction, which will make it possible to meet Brebemi's equity needs (520 million out of the 2,4 billion cost of the work including interest), the shareholding structure of Autostrade Lombarde also saw the entry of three new shareholders important: the builders Pizzarotti (with 6,4%) and Unieco (5,78%) as well as the Mattiodas (5,3%), a historic Piedmontese group specializing in civil works which shares control of the Turin-Ivrea motorway with Gavio .

Among Brebemi's shareholders, Tecnoinvestimenti also appears (with 2,1%), the financial company with which the Chambers of Commerce invest in infrastructure, while Unicredit, confirming the rumors of recent months, did not participate in the increase.
