A "long" list, ready to challenge the one headed by Piero Giarda for the majority of the supervisory board of Banca Popolare di Milano. Even if historically it is the internal minority of the institution. The non-employee shareholders' committee of Bpm led by Piero Lonardi has lent a team with 16 names.
Leading the list is Lonardi himself, followed by Roberto Fusilli (also an outgoing director indicated by non-employee shareholders) and Ezio Maria Simonelli as candidates for the vice presidency. In Cds until April last year, Simonelli had been a candidate in the list presented by the Friends of the Bpm Association, which was later dissolved.
Also on the list with Lonardi are other names close to the world of former Friends, such as Flavia Minutillo. The presence of Maria Luisa Mosconi is also possible, but in this case her name does not find unambiguous confirmation. The team, for the rest, is made up largely of professors (such as Alberto Banfi) and professionals.
Today at the opening, the Bpm share on the Stock Exchange rises by 0,43%.
