Bper, found the agreement for the generational turnover

First Cisl and the other credit unions have signed an agreement with the Bper group which will allow the bank to operate a generational change of the staff. The new composition will take advantage of the Exodus Fund and will result in the exit of 1.100 workers who, freely, will be able to decide whether or not to retire. The parameter that envisages one hiring for every two outings for Southern Italy and Sardinia has been confirmed but, in the new draft, Tuscany, Umbria and Abruzzo have also been added.

Il Bper group confirmed, hiring on a permanent basis, 122 workers who had an apprenticeship contract. The goal, by 2024, is to do the same with another 300 employees who, since 2019, have been serving within the company. Through these new contracts it will be possible to exceed the threshold of 50% of the hiring-leaving ratio.

"This is an agreement that confirms Bper's willingness to seek shared solutions and its sensitivity to relations with trade union organizations as well as, from an industrial point of view, to the repercussions on the territories where the group is present" he declared Mario Garcia, national secretary of First Cisl.

At the same time, an agreement was reached which will improve and expand the supplementary pension schemes, territorial mobility and healthcare assistance for workers from Unipol Banca and Ubi/Intesa Sanpaolo. By doing so, employees will have access to better indemnity conditions regarding territorial mobility, which will pass from 48 to 72 months, and new provisions regarding transfers, rapprochement and return to residence. For the supplementary pension, a 0,40% increase in the company contribution to the pension funds is envisaged.

The expansion will also affect the health policy, in particular the share totally paid by the company, which will increase the number of affiliated structures with the application of minor deductibles. Finally, the ancillary policies related to accidents at work and cases of predecease.

In this regard, the First Cisl manager of the Bper group, Emile Verrengia, he declared: "it is an important first step which, by achieving the harmonization of the treatments of male and female workers who have joined Bper, also manages to improve the institutions for those who already belonged to the group."
