Eurozone stock exchanges: trust at the top for 10 years

Keep improving the climate of confidence among investors in the Eurozone. In May the Sentix index it reached 27,4 points, a clear increase compared to 23,9 in April.

This is the highest level for almost 10 years now: to find a similar result you have to go back to August 2007.

This month's data exceeds analysts' expectations, which were for a more contained rise, at 25 points.

Data on current and future conditions also improved, rising respectively from 28,8 to 34,5 points and from 19,5 to 20,5 points.

The calculations are by the German institute Sentix, which carries out a monthly survey on the confidence of stock traders in the Eurozone.

It seems clear that the result of May was influenced by the outcome of the French presidential elections, considering that already after the first round the markets took for granted the election of Emmanuel Macron to the Elysée.
