Attempt to recover the bags. In the middle of the day, after yesterday's red light, the European price lists attempt a timid comeback: in Piazza Affari the Ftse Eb just before midday it gains 0,6% to 18.700 points and London, Paris and Frankfurt are also in positive territory, with gains of more or less the same order of magnitude.

In Milan, Saipem and Exor are among the best stocks, with earnings exceeding 2%, and then asset management shines with Soul and Azimuth, also with increases of around 2%. The industrialists, on the other hand, suffer: Buzzi and Cnh among the worst stocks, but whoever does the worst just before 12 is Generali, which after yesterday's rally loses more than 2% to 13,60 euros after the appointment of the new CEO Philippe Donnet and the presentation of the 2015 accounts which show a profit of over 2 billion euros.

Eyes also on Telecom Italy on board day: the accounts show increasing losses but above all the spotlights are on the offers received for the Inwit towers and on the change at the top. In this regard, Vivendi, Telecom's largest shareholder who recently rose to almost 25%, has so far been cryptic: clarifications are awaited in this regard in another board meeting scheduled for mid-April. At the end of the morning, the stock gained half a percentage point to 1,019 euros per share.

They react banks after yesterday's losses: Banco Popolare +2,25%, Bmp +2,24%, Unicredit +1,23%, Intesa Sanpaolo on parity, Mps +0,4%, Ubi Banca +0,6%.

Waiting for the conference call of Eni after yesterday the board of directors approved the 2015 financial statements which confirm the preliminary accounts released on 26 February: an adjusted operating result of 4,1 billion and a group net loss of 8,7 billion. The board resolved to propose to the shareholders' meeting on 12 May the distribution of a dividend of 0,80 euro per share. Today the stock travels just above parity at 13,64 euros.

The rally continues Petroleum, which is now approaching 42 dollars a barrel for both Wti and Brent, up further from yesterday's 41 dollars. Waiting for the Doha summit on April 17, which will aim to reduce production. Btp-Bund Spread down slightly to around 104 basis points, with ten-year BTPs at 1,25%. Very slightly down the euro against the dollar, at 1.12 after yesterday it had risen to 1.13.
