On the European Stock Exchanges, the rise was driven by Banks (Stoxx of the sector +0,8%) and Automotive stocks (+0,8%). But in Piazza Affari Telecom Italia is holding the court, earning 3,4% at 0,8065 euros, a race fueled by the hypothesis of network separation. The proportional demerger of the telephone company into two realities which would consequently find themselves listed on the Stock Exchange and controlled by Vivendi at 23,94% is being studied: a Tim of the network, which would also include Sparkle and Telsi (the two companies involved in the examination for the golden power), and a Tim Servizi. At this point Tim's controlling share of the network would be taken over by the CDP. According to Akros, "it is an intriguing scenario, not new and not improbable".
