Mediobanca recovers from yesterday's deep red (-3,5% at the close). After an opening in the red, in mid-morning the Piazzetta Cuccia share rose by 1,11%, with shares trading at 6,83 euros.
Two factors determine the rise. First, the change in governance decided yesterday, which provides for the abolition of the shareholders' group and the appointment of two vice presidents, one by Unicredit, the other by Vincent Bolloré.
Secondly, the decision by Bolloré himself to take up the Bank's capital, bringing his share to 7%. The Breton financier has the right to go up to 8%.
