From today, the Ftse Mib basket returns to 40 companies with the entry of Yoox, the first web company on the list. On Friday, the shares of the e-commerce company recorded an increase of 0,5%: 2,22 million shares changed hands, against a daily average of 394 thousand in the last month. This is the highest amount ever traded for Yoox.
In the four years since its debut, in December 2009, Yoox has managed to multiply its value by more than seven times compared to the price that had been set during the placement phase (from 4,3 to over 31 euros), consequently increasing the market capitalization to 1,7 billion.
From the Olympus of the blue chips, which includes the shares of the 40 companies with the largest capitalization traded in Piazza Affari, come Diasorin and Parmalat. This restores the official number of admitted companies, which rose to 41 following the spin-off of World Duty Free from the Autogrill group.
