The sun is shining on Telecom (+1,39%)., while shareholders are in the storm with Vivendi returning to office and denouncing the behavior of the board members appointed by Elliott, who yesterday rejected the report drawn up last week by the board of statutory auditors by a majority.

Juventus' good star shines again, +1,77%, this time thanks to the Champions League quarter-final draw with Ajax. Banks are mixed, after recent gains, Banco Bpm down -1,85% and Bper -0,61%, pending Moody's verdict this evening on Italy's rating. The future is played out on razor's edge, given that in October the agency cut its rating to Baa3 with a stable outlook, just above the "garbage" level. Overall, however, there is calm confidence in the report card of the strictest teacher and even the bond market remains stable: the 2,5-year yield is XNUMX% and the spread with the Bund of the same duration is 241.40 basis points (-0,45%). In any case, the reduction in government bonds in the hands of foreign investors continues: in December they fell to 634 billion euros against 681 in the same month of 2017 and 647 in November. The decline has continued since July when there was a rebound to 672 billion after the fall in the previous months. Securities in the hands of Italian banks are also decreasing, 384 billion from 401 billion in November (however they were 333 in December 2017).

Gold exceeds 1302 dollars an ounce, while the oil deflates a little: Brent -0,64%, $66,8 a barrel. Saipem is affected -1,67%, but Eni rises by 0,32%, following the announcement of increasing dividend to 0,86 euros in 2019 and a buyback of 400 million a year until 2022. Among the worst blue chips is Banca Generali -0,54%. 

Off the main Autogrill index +8,4%, following the results published yesterday. Profit-taking instead knocked out Brunello Cucinelli -10,38%.
