Fuel prices have remained calm for a second day, both on international markets and at retail outlets.
The former showed only very slight variations from yesterday's prices (a slight drop for petrol, -2,5 euros/thousand litres, and almost stable for diesel, at +1,5 euros/thousand litres) thanks also to the effect of the euro/dollar exchange rate.
For the latter, recommended prices have aligned with the international trend, recording only adjustments based on local pricing policies.
National averages for petrol and diesel are €1,839 and €1,742/litre, respectively (LPG at €0,796). Peaks in some areas of the country are €1,879/litre for unleaded petrol, €1,761 for diesel, and €0,824 for LPG.
Going deeper into the analysis, breaking it down to a country level (always in “served” mode), according to the results of a sample of service stations that represent the national situation for the “Price Check-Up” service of Quotidiano energia, the average price of petrol currently ranges from 1,821 euro/litre for Eni to 1,839 for Tamoil (no-logo at 1,725).
Diesel prices range from Eni's €1,722/liter to Tamoil's €1,742 (no logo, €1,607). Finally, LPG prices range from Shell's €0,781/liter to Tamoil's €0,796 (no logo, €0,740).
Meanwhile, the gas station workers' strike, which was supposed to continue until Friday, has been suspended. Service stations will therefore be open from 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.
