Bancomat has a new CEO. The board of directors of the company has unanimously appointed Alessandro Zollo as CEO and general manager.
Zollo - a 57-year-old executive manager - has been given the powers to lead the growth strategy of the Domestic Circuit, "implementing the 2018/20 Business Plan aimed at expanding and digitizing the offer of payment services for banks, consumers , companies and public administration, against approximately 40 million investments in innovation, skills, technological and commercial partnerships”, reads the note published by the company.
“Bancomat has great development potential, and in order to successfully face the challenges and opportunities that will arise in the coming months, it needs managerial figures who can guide the new course by dictating the times and accelerating the strategic renewal process. We have chosen Alessandro Zollo – explained the Chairman Dalla Sega – because we believe he is the right person to relaunch the Italian payment services infrastructure and guide the growth of the Company, which must strengthen its market positioning and develop a business model comparable to main competitors. The new Chief Executive Officer, thanks to his skills and in particular his in-depth knowledge of the Domestic Circuit, will be able to pursue the most suitable strategies for the implementation of the Business Plan, focusing on historical assets such as brand strength, diffusion, acceptance and safety of the Circuits Bancomat and PagoBancomat”.
