The IR Magazine Award 2021, an authoritative specialist magazine in the financial world, has chosen the Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo as best European financial institution for relations with financial analysts and investors. The prize is awarded annually on the basis of the assessments expressed by over six hundred analysts and investors and therefore this year it went to the Intesa Sanpaolo Investor Relations team, which is part of the Chief Financial Officer Stefano Del Punta's Area, and is led for years by Marco Delfrate and Andrea Tamagnini.
The bank led by Carlo Messina therefore won in the special classification of financial groups, chosen in a lot of 6 names which included Unicredit, Deutsche Bank, Allianz, BBVA and Zurich. Intesa was also a candidate in the overall (large cap) category, but the winner was the Danish pharmaceutical group Novo Nordisk. Companies such as Adidas, Nestlé, Iberdrola, Deutsche Post, Vodafone and AstraZeneca also appear among the winners in the various categories.
