Banca Ifis: from Interbanca 20 million to CMC builders

Interbank (part of the Banca IFIS Group since November 2016) e CMC of Ravenna – one of the main Italian construction companies – have signed an agreement for a medium-term loan for a total of 20 million euros. The loan will be used to support the important development of the Group's portfolio of foreign contracts. A support, that of Banca IFIS Impresa, which in this market aims to support excellent groups and SMEs in their growth and expansion projects, also at an international level.

Secondo Stephen Cirella, commercial lending manager of Interbanca, “this is an important deal, with a client of absolute standing, not only in the Italian market. An operation that gives us confidence and shows us that the Italian entrepreneurial fabric is full of excellence in the most varied sectors, which manage to establish themselves on a global level and Banca IFIS has the ability and willingness to support the growth of virtuous companies such as CMC".

“The closing of this transaction with a leading Italian bank such as the Banca IFIS group generates a lot of satisfaction in our company – confirms CMC's CFO, Alberto Morigi – because it is the tangible demonstration of an Italian economic situation which, despite everything, seeks new developments through collaboration between the entrepreneurial system and the credit system. In particular, this deal will serve to support CMC's development and growth plan both nationally and internationally".
