Today Banca Generali is the first company on the waiting list to enter the main index of Piazza Affari – Record net inflows in March of 437 million euro, +42% in the first quarter.

The title of General Bank, which at the end of the morning gained about one percentage point, to 29,66 euros, after having opened at +1,4%, reaching an all-time high of 29,8 euros. Two factors are fueling market interest in the institution's shares: the latest data on funding (last month was the best in the history of the institution) and the possibility that the stock join the Ftse Mib soon.

Today Banca Generali is listed on the MTA segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, but it is also the first company on the waiting list to enter the main index of Piazza Affari, which includes 40 companies selected on the basis of criteria such as capitalisation, volumes and floating.

As for the numbers published yesterday, Banca Generali has realized total net inflows in March equal to 437 million euro, of which 294 million with the Banca Generali network and 143 million with Banca Generali Private Banking.

March represents the best month in the Bank's history for entirely retail deposits and allows the institute to close the first quarter with an acceleration of 42% (to 1,142 billion) compared to the same period last year.

In the spotlight the managed savings, with another month of growth that brings the total since the beginning of the year to 1,1 billion euro (+62% compared to the first quarter of 2014).
