The Guardia di Finanza is carrying out a search in the Civitavecchia headquarters of Banca Etruria, as part of the investigation into the suicide of the pensioner Luigino D'Angelo, which took place on 28 November. The man, holder of subordinated bonds of the bank, killed himself in the Lazio town after discovering the zeroing of his capital.
The public prosecutor Alessandra D'Amore, in charge of the investigation into the pensioner's suicide, is in the Civitavecchia offices of Banca Etruria and witnesses the search she ordered and which is being carried out by financiers from the special currency police unit.
