Black day for the Stock Exchange stock Banca Carige, which at the beginning of the afternoon left 6,35% on the field, at 5,90 euros, one of the worst drops in all of Piazza Affari. The sales started after the publication of the details of theincrease from 850 million which will start on Monday.
In truth, the conditions established yesterday by the Board of Directors together with the underwriting consortium assisting the operation resulted in the expectations: the issue price of the new shares is 1,17 € and foresees an 35,2% discount compared to the theoretical ex-rights price calculated on yesterday's reference price (6,25 euro).
The adjustment of the share that will take place at today's closing should lead to an indicative price of the share traded from Monday at 1,80 euro and a price of the right around 4,45 euro.
"As in the latest hyper-dilutive increases - comments an analyst quoted by the Reuters agency - and as in the ongoing recapitalization of MPS, most of the share's value lies in the law with a probable volatility effect starting from Monday".
For each ordinary or savings Carige share, shareholders will be able to subscribe 7 newly issued securities. The increase therefore has a 88% dilution ratio. Currently the market capitalization of Banca Carige is 634 million.
