Banca Carige closes the half year positively: 75,2 million profits

The Ligurian group improves compared to the same period last year. The positive dynamics of net commissions and the recovery of the interest margin offset the effects of market volatility and riskiness. Consolidated supervisory ratios ok.

Banca Carige closes the half year positively: 75,2 million profits

Positive half-year for Banca Carige, which closes with a net profit of 75,2 million euro, marking a growth of 5,4% compared to the same period last year. The recovery in the interest margin (+9,2% to 372,2 million) and the positive trend in net fee and commission income (+5,3% to 147 million) offset the effects of market volatility (-29% to 22,5 million for financial items) and risk (+8,6% to 62 million for value adjustments on loans and other financial items).

 

In terms of the consolidated supervisory ratios, the Core tier 1 is equal to 6%, the Tier 1 is 6,7% and the Total capital ratio is 9,2%.
