Continue to rage the bad weather in Sardinia and now the alert also moves to Liguria. A woman was found dead in Assemini, in the Cagliari area: she was in the car with her husband and her three daughters, in the locality of Sa Traia. According to an initial reconstruction, the car would have been hit by water and the four would have attempted to escape. The family was rescued by the Carabinieri and they were all taken to the hospital. Throughout the night the rain gave no respite in the Cagliari area: the regional civil protection machine worked tirelessly to rescue people in difficulty and deal with hydrogeological and hydraulic problems. In Uta, according to the latest bulletin published on the Facebook page of the regional civil protection, 49 people were evacuated, six of which are accepted in the municipal structures. Yesterday the dramatic collapse of the bridge on the 195 state road, now the alarm is for the Cixerri dam, in southern Sardinia, where the state of pre-alert has been reached. Just in Cixerri ten years ago 4 people died in a flood.
Coldiretti also denounces damage to crops and livestock, after the flooding of the countryside. In flooded fields it is impossible to sow cereals, but the vegetable crops next to harvest were also destroyed. The situation is evolving and a capillary monitoring of the territory by Coldiretti is underway. There are also fears for entire flocks of sheep left alone.

As expected the Atlantic flow has now arrived in Liguria, which is bringing abundant rains especially in the Imperia and Savonese areas, where the Civil Protection alert is red. During today's afternoon, the rainy area will move towards the Genoese, involving it directly but probably with less force than the Savona area: in this case the alert is orange. For now, the situation is under control in the area where the Morandi bridge collapsed in Valpolcevera. In the west, despite the red alert, for now there are some problems only due to the flooding of basements in the Imperia area. No particular problems were reported in Genoa and in the east due to worsening weather conditions.
