Autogrill conquering Northern Europe. The group listed on Piazza Affari, through the HMSHost International division, has in fact signed a contract with Finavia, the airport authority of Finland, for the management of 16 outlets within Helsinki-Vantaa international airport.

The agreement provides for the launch of activities in two phases: the opening of the first nine premises to the public is scheduled for the second half of 2014, while the other seven will operate from 2016. It is estimated that in the period 2014-2024 the concession will generate total revenues of over 200 million euros.

The operation is part of the group's expansion strategy in the airports of Northern Europe, an area judged to have good growth opportunities for the airport catering sector in the coming years. By mid-morning, the Autogrill stock in Piazza Affari did not seem to have reacted with particular enthusiasm to the news: around 11am it was practically stable at +0,6% at €6,045 per share.
