The beginning of the 86th is approaching Geneva International Motor Show, which will be held from 3 to 13 March. The Show, generally considered one of the five most important exhibitions in the world in its sector, will welcome around 200 exhibitors (a number slightly down on recent years) from thirty different countries and, according to forecasts, at least 650 visitors.

Like every year, the Swiss event will be one of the most eagerly awaited events for four-wheel enthusiasts, one of the events on which, more than any other, the major innovations presented by the world's leading car manufacturers are concentrated. The highlight of the Salone, of course, will be previews of new cars: 120 absolute novelties are expected at European and world level, which will be visible to the public for the first time at the Show.

Standing out among these are the Audi RS Q3, powered by the famous five-cylinder Audi, an innovative model for the French brand, the Citroen SpaceTourer will be presented in Geneva, the restyling of the Citroen DS3, the Ferrari GTC4 Luxury, a brand new model of the Prancing Horse, the Fiat Tipo hatchback and the Mercedes-Benz SLC, the new two-seater from the German brand.

The event will also present numerous ecological cars, a type of car on which the Geneva Motor Show has been focusing particularly for some years now. The trade fair will be inaugurated in the presence of Federal Councilor Alain Berset.
