The Governing Council of Assorel, the Italian Association of Public Relations Agencies, met under the guidance of President Filomena Rosato to assign the new positions and define the guidelines for the two-year period 2017/2019. The vice presidency was attributed to Carolina Mailander.
In addition, the Governing Council has:
– redefined the role of treasurer, confirming Massimo Tafi, with objectives of economic sustainability of the association;
– the monitoring of Rome was strengthened with the delegation of Institutional Relations and Development to Antonio Ferro;
– created the Study Center and Observatory with delegation to Anita Lissona.
Anna Pelucchi is responsible for Training with Assorel Academy and Relations with the Academic World, while Omer Pignatti maintains the responsibility for public and private tenders extended to the development of business networks and services.
Empowerment and Youth is the delegation of Carola Salvato, who is also deputy Italy of the international organization GWPR (Global Women PR) supported by Assorel. In Saro Trovato the delegation for Innovation and Relations with other Associations.
The external delegations to the Board of Massimo Moriconi, ICCO Delegate, and Cristina Manfredini, Experiential and Live Communication Delegate were also confirmed.
The team will be able to count on the support of the general manager, Alessandro Costella, who will take care of the management and development of the association.
The panel of arbitrators sees the new entry of Franco Guzzi (former president of Assorel), alongside Giovanna Maggioni (UPA) and Renato Fiocca (Catholic University).
