Over 120 culinary events organized by the Network of Italian Chambers of Commerce around the world including "Italian Pizza Night", cooking masterclasses and guided tastings in "Ospitalità Italiana" brand restaurants worldwide turnover of the sector.

Assocamerestero – the Association which includes the 78 Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad (CCIE), private, foreign and market entrepreneurial entities, and Unioncamere – actively participates in the second Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in close collaboration with MIPAAF and with MISE, MIUR, MIBACT, Regions, ICE Agency, ENIT, universities, Chamber of Commerce system, trade associations, cooking schools, networks of certified Italian restaurants and operators of the food and wine and design sector. 

The protagonists of the eagerly awaited appointment are the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad engaged in more than 120 events that are already taking place in over 30 countries to enhance the combination of "quality cuisine and wine". 

The program also integrates with the actions envisaged by the "Strategic promotion campaign for the enhancement of the Italian product in relation to the Italian Sounding phenomenon", promoted and financed by Ministry of Economic Development and created in collaboration with Ice Agency with the aim of enhancing the distribution and commercial presence of real Italian agri-food products, where they are involved 21 Italian Chambers of Commerce in Benelux, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, Canada and Mexico.

As many as 68 Italian products are on the podium of the best-selling agri-food products in the world, with proven leadership of the Bel Paese for the number of Pdo/igp/stg products in Food (292) and Doc/Docg/Igt in Wine (523). Nonetheless, the turnover of the so-called Italian Sounding stands at values ​​of approximately 60 billion euros, concentrated mainly in the geographical areas of North and Central America (24 billion), Europe and Africa (21 billion).

The path of the new Week of Italian Cuisine in the World winds through the CCIE through multiple stages that enhance the homegrown production excellences with an always punctual attention to the business for the Italian SMEs involved and sees the participation of catering experts, chefs, importers, distributors, influencers and stakeholders of Italian food entrepreneurship, witnesses and guardians of the values ​​of craftsmanship and culinary innovation.

for CCIE of Monreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami e New York   the protagonist is the "Pizza", with culinary evenings, demonstrations and guided tastings of the product that is the symbol par excellence of Italian cuisine. Chefs and professionals with dedicated show cooking will reveal all the secrets of preparing the real Italian pizza involving over 70 pizzerias present in the area that will host the "Italian Pizza Night”. The aim of the culinary initiatives is to raise the awareness of food bloggers, journalists and operators in the food and tourism industry regarding the quality and excellence of real 100% Made in Italy pizza.

In 'European area, many initiatives of depth that will animate the rich days of the second Week of Italian Cuisine in the World involving certified restaurants in the front line "Italian Hospitality" with training evenings with selected influencers and launch dinners dedicated to the presentation of the new project to counter Italian Sounding in Germany, UK, France, Switzerland, Spain and Benelux.

The "Italian Hospitality" certification promoted by Unioncamere is aimed at distinguishing the quality Italian catering offer proposed by restaurants around the world and sees over 557 certified restaurants in Europe out of more than 2.200 recognized worldwide, with France in first place (restaurants 116), followed by the Germany (a share 94) to UK (With 90 unit). With reference to the cities, we find on the podium of quality Italian restaurants, London followed by Monaco e Barcelona.
