Generali Italia launches the electric car policy: Imagine Strade Nuove 100% Electric that protects and safeguards the owners of electric vehicles. The new insurance - already available from the agency network from 1 April - provides roadside assistance in the event of a flat battery, with recharging on site or towing to the nearest column, extension of the theft, fire, damage due to atmospheric events or vandalism guarantees , to the charging cable and enhanced legal protection.
The initiative is the first on the Italian insurance market to offer a policy dedicated to those who drive a 100% electric car. About 7 out of 10 Italians declared that for the future, they would prefer an electric or hybrid power supply for their vehicle: due to the desire to limit the environmental impact by reducing polluting emissions (63%) and for the economic convenience, such as minors feed costs (55%).
