Ardian acquires the majority of Study Group

Investment firm Ardian announced it has reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Study Group – a company that prepares students in the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and North America with personalized educational programs – from Providence Equity Partners.

The agreement calls for the Ardian Boyout team to work alongside Study Group management to grow the group in key geographies through strategic acquisitions.

Study Group helped educate nearly 30.000 students from 142 countries last year. The company prepares international students who wish to enter leading English-speaking universities through training courses that equip them with the academic, language and learning skills necessary to succeed.

Incidentally, the international learning pathways industry has grown 15% annually in volume and is expected to continue to grow by double digits for years to come.
