Ania, the association of insurance companies, is ready to give itself a new governance. Indeed, the Executive Committee which met today in Milan approved the changes to the association's governance by majority vote, which will now be submitted for approval by the assembly on 16 December.
The new government structure provides for a wider participation in the leadership of the association. In particular, the Vice-Presidents would go from 2 to 3 with the possibility that they would be given specific powers.
The Strategic Committee is given new responsibilities in terms of proposal to the Executive Committee and resolution in case of urgency; the number of its members went from 9 to 10. The Executive Committee unanimously expressed its willingness to open discussions with the UnipalSai group, hoping for a reconsideration of the decision it announced.
