Andrew Fabricant joins the Gagosian Gallery team

Andrew Fabricant comments: “Gagosian's global platform and broad consensus of historic and contemporary artists were both inspiring and important to me in this decision. The gallery's international profile has influenced and informed the tastes and interests of a seasoned and a new generation of collectors."

Andrew Fabricant began his professional career with Larry Gagosian at his eponymous gallery in 1983 in Los Angeles. In 1985 he began commuting between Los Angeles and New York when the gallery opened in Chelsea with an exhibition of works from Burton and Emily Tremaine's famed collection. He moved to New York permanently in 1987. Since 1996 Andrew has worked with the Richard Gray Gallery. He has actively participated in advising international collectors and clients on both the acquisition and sale of important works of art. Andrew is known and respected not only for his knowledge and expertise in modern and contemporary art, but for his comprehensive understanding of the international art market.
