The new service implemented, which will be available at no additional cost, will therefore allow customers to select directly on Amazon.it the bookstore with the location and opening hours that best suit their needs, in order to allow customers to plan their time of withdrawal, which can take place within 14 days of delivery of the product.

The Collection Points service is available, at no additional cost, with the 1-day or 2-day delivery method for Prime customers and with the standard delivery method for all other customers who are not Prime service subscribers.

“Amazon – explained the Vice President of the Retail area for Europe Xavier Garambois – is committed to offering its customers ever more delivery options that allow them to receive their order quickly, comfortably and safely. The agreement signed with the Giunti Group to create an increasingly close relationship between the physical store and the online one thus comes to a significant new development that brings an undoubted advantage to all customers”.

According to Garambois, the collection points of the Giunti al Punto bookstores offer several advantages: “distribution throughout the country and extended opening hours. Amazon.it customers who do not have the possibility to receive the shipment at their home can take advantage of Amazon's faster deliveries and plan to collect the product at the time and place most convenient for them.

The CEO of the Giunti group is also satisfied Martino Montanarini: “It is with great satisfaction that we announce this additional agreement with Amazon. Giunti al Punto bookstores will now be able not only to sell Kindles, but also to be the collection point for purchases made online on giuntialpunto.it and amazon.it.”.
