In this regard, the intervention of Pierdavide Carone, Roman singer-songwriter launched by Amici linked to Lucio Dalla (he was the producer). The director will also speak Pupi Avati, a childhood friend of Lucio Dalla with whom he shared a passion for jazz. After their interventions, a double musical tribute will follow: starting with the singer-songwriter Robert Yellow, accompanied on the double bass by Enrico Dolcetti, who maintained a close artistic and personal relationship with the Bolognese artist; to follow, the jazz interpretations of the sax by Stefano Di Battista and of the voice of Nicky Nicolai offering a whole new creative dimension.

The Neapolitan artist will be celebrated by Alexander Daniel, son and personal manager of the singer-songwriter, today at the helm of the Pino Daniele Foundation. After the chat, it will be time for a performance by Fabrizio Bosso to the trumpet e Julian Oliver Mazzariello on the piano who will reinterpret some of his most loved songs, thus trying to return an unpublished portrait of the singer-songwriter.

The Sicilian singer-songwriter will be publicly remembered by John Caccamo, discovered by Battiato himself, who will share with those present some moments spent with him and John Canitano, photographer, friend of Battiato, who shares important moments of their personal and artistic relationship with the MAXXI audience. Followed by live Maria Pia DeVito - together with James Ancillotto on guitar, Matthew Bortone on the double bass e Michael Anger to percussion and electronics – which will re-propose some of the artist's most famous songs but also “unexpected” songs, to give an account of one of the most extraordinary artistic personalities who have successfully occupied the Italian songwriting scene.
