The growth of passengers at Bologna Airport continues: in October the airport recorded an increase of 7,3% on the same month of 2014, for a monthly total of 601.612 passengers.

This result is the confirmation of a positive trend which characterized all the months of the summer season, thanks to the launch of new routes and the upgrading of existing routes. With October, in fact, for Marconi it becomes six consecutive months that have recorded more than 600 passengers (with the peak in August, above 700).

Passengers on international flights are growing strongly (458.949, +8,9%), passengers on domestic flights also increased (142.663, +2%). These are the favorite destinations in October: London, Paris and Frankfurt on the podium, followed by Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Istanbul, Palermo, Catania, Rome and Amsterdam.

In the first ten months of the year, passengers totaled 5.839.911, with a growth of 3,7% over the same period in 2014. Lastly, it should be noted that according to a research published today by Corriere Economia on consumer satisfaction with respect to service received, Marconi takes first place in Italy among small-medium sized airports. “Excellent management has paid off and has catalysed – writes the newspaper – a large part of the air traffic, also absorbing that of the crowded Romagna coast”.
